This procurement involves commercial/non-developmental/off-the-shelf items that fall under the Converters, Electrical, Nonrotating category (PSC 6130). The contract requires FOB origin delivery terms, and the government will accept early and incremental deliveries as preferred delivery options. This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it available to all qualified contractors regardless of size or socioeconomic status. The procurement specifies a quantity of 58 units under Technical Data Package Version 001, indicating a relatively modest volume requirement for specialized electrical conversion equipment. No current incumbent contractors or potential award values are disclosed in the pre-solicitation documentation. The government emphasizes that contractual documents will be considered officially issued when transmitted through mail, facsimile, or electronic methods including email, establishing clear communication protocols for the procurement process. The commercial nature of these items suggests standardized specifications and pricing structures will likely apply to the eventual solicitation.
