About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking battery assemblies for repair/modification under NSN 7H-6140-016574072, specifically requiring 2 units with FOB origin delivery. This procurement represents a sole-source acquisition under FAR 6.302-1 authority, as the Government does not own the data rights necessary to competitively procure or repair these specialized battery components, and has determined it would be uneconomical to acquire such rights or reverse engineer the parts. Award decisions will be made solely at the Government's discretion based on responses received, and successful offerors must meet all qualification requirements per FAR clause 52.209-1 at the time of award. The due date for this procurement opportunity is August 8, 2025, with the original posting date of April 12, 2023.
