About this opportunity

The USDA Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for VOIP services to unify the telecommunications system across its BARC campus. The scope of the contract includes migrating the remaining analog phone lines to a VOIP system, implementing a campus-wide alert system, providing user training, and supporting softphone deployment. The contractor must possess the knowledge and capabilities to design, implement, and maintain the new unified telecommunications infrastructure while adhering to applicable accessibility standards. Responses to this Sources Sought notice should include a capability statement demonstrating the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. No award will be made based on responses to this notice, which is intended solely for market research purposes.

This is an unrestricted procurement with no set-aside designation. The current VOIP system is provided by E-MetroTel, but the government is seeking new sources to complete the campus-wide migration. The government has not provided an estimated contract value or budget range, but the project involves approximately 500 analog phone lines across 35 buildings. The period of performance is 12 months from the contract start date.
