The contractor will provide logistics and technical expertise to F/A-18 programs, serving as an interface between prime contractors/manufacturers and logistics support elements including NAVSUP-WSS, NAWC, and NAVAIR/FST. Key responsibilities include technical research, problem resolution, requirements analysis, strategy development, and creating regular recurring and ad-hoc reports by retrieving, analyzing, and monitoring Integrated Supply Chain Management data. The contractor must have access to The Boeing Company systems and NAVSUP Business Information Technology Systems along with Navy/DoD Information Technology applications. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements within 15 days after publication of this synopsis on August 13, 2025.

The procurement falls under NAICS code 541990 for All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services and PSC code B541 for Special Studies/Analysis-Defense, reflecting the specialized nature of the logistics and technical analysis work required. No specific contract value or budget range information is provided in this pre-solicitation notice.
