About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is seeking contractors for the teardown, test, evaluation, and repair of Axial Impeller Fans, which are critical internal components of the A/M32C-10C Aircraft Ground Support Air Conditioner systems. These fans, also known as Air Cycle Machines (NSN 4140-01-127-4674RN), are essential for providing continuous conditioned air for cooling or heating aircraft equipment, cargo, and personnel during ground servicing and avionics checkout of F15, F16, and other aircraft. The solicitation involves multiple part numbers including 100526-1, 100526-2, and 100526-3, with the requirement specifically focused on maintenance and repair services for these specialized components. The contract structure will be a requirements-type, firm fixed price arrangement spanning five years with five annual ordering periods. Proposals are due by July 24, 2025, having been posted on June 25, 2025.
This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and will be performed at Warner Robins, Georgia. American Turbo Systems Inc (ATS), with CAGE code 0WE82, is identified as the original equipment manufacturer for the Axial Impeller Fan and possesses the complete Technical Data Package necessary for repairs. The solicitation notes that no other known manufacturer has the current configuration data and equipment necessary to manufacture these specialized fans used in the A/M32C-10C systems. The contract falls under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and PSC code J059 for Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components. The five-year contract duration with annual ordering periods suggests a long-term maintenance support requirement for these critical aircraft ground support systems.
