About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Systems Command awarded a $78,429,802 cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-only contract (N00024-26C-5203) to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems on February 20, 2026, for engineering and program management services supporting the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Combat System. The contract encompasses development, qualification, integration, and certification activities required to maintain fielded baselines and certify future upgrades, with work expected to be completed by February 2027. The contract includes options that could increase the cumulative value to $479,933,956, with performance potentially extending through February 2031 if all options are exercised. The award covers purchases for the U.S. Navy (82%), the government of Japan (13%), and the government of Australia (5%) under the Foreign Military Sales program. This non-competitive award was justified under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) based on a determination that only Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems could satisfy agency requirements without unacceptable delays.
