About this opportunity
Naval Sea Systems Command seeks autonomous drone and systems training services with proposals due June 5, 2026. The procurement is 100 percent set aside for small business, structured as a firm fixed-price contract with multiple option years extending through September 30, 2030.
Place of performance is Crane, Indiana. The requirement spans in-person training at government-provided facilities covering drone warfare fundamentals, autonomous defense systems, counter-drone technologies, electronic warfare, AI-driven targeting, and related topics across multiple experience levels. An initial 2-day "Drone Warfare & Autonomous Defense Systems Fundamentals" course with a maximum of 60 students must be executed between award and September 1, 2026. The government anticipates awarding three to five training events per fiscal year, each specified at award with course details and class size. Courses require a minimum of 10 registered students two weeks prior; courses falling below that threshold will be rescheduled or cancelled at government discretion without penalty.
Offerors must maintain active Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 (self) certification at time of award and submit resumes for key training facilitators demonstrating military service or military advisory experience, including multi-year Class 1-3 UAS battlefield advising and expertise with armed unmanned systems. Instructors must be eligible for classified environment training. Offerors must provide syllabi for all available courses, past performance on similar trainings with customer references, and pricing for each contract line item. All course materials, instructional handouts, textbooks, and presentations are contractor-provided.
The contract maximum per order is $350,000, with a government minimum to order of $500,000. Service Contract Act prevailing wage rates apply. NAICS code is 611710 (Educational Support Services); PSC is U099 (Education/Training–Other). Amendment 0001, effective May 28, 2026, extended the closing date to June 5, 2026.
