About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation seeks procurement of 90 augmentor nozzle segments (nickel base alloy divergent segments, part number 4071142) for F100 series turbine engines, with proposals due August 5. The procurement is designated a critical safety item and includes two bidding alternatives: Bid A requires First Article Testing with destructive and nondestructive testing of three articles per FAR 52.209-3, while Bid B waives FAT requirements for offerors meeting qualification standards.
Place of performance is the United States. Offerors must be approved sources per Manufacture Qualification Requirements (MQR) specifications and hold ISO 9001-2015 quality standards certification. First Article Test Plans must be delivered 45 days from contract award; First Article Test Reports must be delivered 60 days from award. Testing must comply with LPF-QAR-003 quality assurance requirements, including 100% dimensional inspection with NIST-traceable calibrations, nondestructive inspection methods (FPI, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, X-ray, visual), material property verification, and Level II or Level III inspector certification. All items require Item Unique Identification (IUID) marking per MIL-STD-130 and packaging per MIL-STD-2073-1 and MIL-STD-129, including heat-treated wood certification per UN restrictions. Delivery is required October 31, 2027. The contract is a firm fixed-price rated order under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) at rating code DO:A1. Evaluation uses best value performance-price tradeoff methodology with technical acceptability as the prerequisite and price and past performance weighted approximately equally. Offerors must hold prices firm for 120 days. Engineering Data List and drawings are export-controlled and available through sam.gov for authorized vendors only. NAICS 336412; PSC 2840.
