About this opportunity
The Department of the Army's Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) is issuing a Sources Sought Notice for audio and visual equipment maintenance services. The agency currently intends to award a sole source contract to ExhibitOne Corporation but is seeking market research to determine if competitive procurement is feasible. Potential vendors are requested to submit detailed information about their capabilities, including previous experience with similar audio-visual maintenance requirements, company details, business size, and small business certifications. Respondents must provide insights into commercial availability, pricing information, delivery schedules, and recommendations for structuring competitive contract requirements. The sources sought notice requires interested businesses to respond by December 18, 2024, with specific documentation including a service letter from ExhibitOne Corporation, contact information, DUNS number, and CAGE code.
The procurement is categorized under NAICS code 811210 for Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with no specific set-aside designated at this time. Small businesses across various socioeconomic categories, including 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, and Women-Owned Small Business, are encouraged to demonstrate their capabilities. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price arrangement, with the statutory authority for potential sole source procurement referenced under FAR 13.501. While the notice explicitly states that it does not constitute a formal request for quotes or proposals, it serves as a market research instrument to evaluate potential competitive procurement strategies. Respondents are advised that the government will not reimburse any costs associated with preparing responses and that a determination of competitive procurement remains solely at the government's discretion.
