This solicitation is not designated as a small business set-aside, though the SF 1449 form references small business considerations. Astronics Test Systems, located in Orlando, Florida, is the sole-source contractor identified for award. The specific contract value is not disclosed in the available documentation, though pricing for all associated costs including delivery must be included in contractor proposals. The procurement requires delivery of the equipment to Combat Direction Systems Activity in Virginia Beach, Virginia, within 16 weeks of contract award. The contractor must provide Department of Defense unique identification for each item in accordance with DFARS 252.211-7003, and all costs associated with the requirement, including shipping to the Virginia Beach location, must be covered under the firm fixed-price arrangement.
