Arkansas Post National Monument - Replace DP-2 Panel and Restore Power

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:

The National Park Service, Contracting Operations – Central, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Replace DP-2 Panel and Restore Power project for Arkansas Post National Monument in Gillette, AR.

Work consists of: The disconnection and removal of existing distribution panel DP-2 which is fed direct from the main distribution panel (MDP) and located within the mechanical room of the visitor center (VC). The contractor shall provide and install a new NEMA 3R rated enclosure to house a new single phase, 800amp, 240v panel. Existing electrical service from panel DP-2 which is routed by conduit up through the floor of the mechanical room shall be extended through the wall and re-connected to the new panel DP-2 as indicated in the construction drawings.
