About this opportunity

The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service, Acquisition Division has issued a Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other Than Full and Open Competition to extend the ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with Bradley Technologies Inc. for Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at the Internal Revenue Service campus in Austin, Texas. The extension will be for up to 12 months, from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025, to allow time to complete the solicitation and award of a follow-on contract, as well as provide an adequate transition period. Bradley Technologies Inc. is the incumbent contractor and has a fully qualified staff in place, making it the only contractor that can immediately fulfill the requirement without a disruption in services. The total estimated value of the extension is unknown.

The Federal Protective Service Acquisition Division has procured Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services on a noncompetitive basis to Bradley Technologies, Inc. (1700 Rockville Pike, STE 200 Rockville, Maryland 20852) for up to twelve (12) months, August 01, 2024, through July 31, 2025, to allow time to solicit and award the follow-on contract, as well as to provide adequate time for transition. This action resulted in a modification to extend the ordering period of the existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract to allow placement of a task order to continue critical PSO services at the IRS campus located in Austin, Texas. Task order(s) will only be issued under this contract for the necessary length of time required, but not to exceed twelve months. As such, this extension will allow time to complete the solicitation and award as well as provide an adequate transition period to the new effort for this requirement.
