The contractor must provide all necessary labor, tools, and materials to perform inspections and certifications in accordance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) standard ALOIM (current version) and manufacturer specifications. The government emphasizes that this is a market research initiative only and not a formal solicitation or Request for Proposal; no contractual commitment exists, and no funds are available to compensate respondents for information provided. The sources sought synopsis was posted on February 25, 2026, with a response deadline of March 4, 2026.
This procurement has not been designated with any set-aside restrictions and is open to all business types, including Large Businesses, Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses (8a), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses. No incumbent contractor or current service provider is identified in this notice. The contract structure includes a one-year base period with four optional one-year renewal periods, allowing for up to five years of service delivery. The proposed NAICS Code 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance) applies, which carries a $16.5 million small business size standard. The specific equipment details and service locations throughout Alabama are to be determined during the formal solicitation phase that may follow this market research period.
