The Government intends award a sole source contract to LivingWorks Education L.P., 440 Summerlea Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
The proposed contract action is to provide Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training - Training for Trainers (ASIST T4T) and safeTALK Training for Trainers (safeTALK T4T) courses to certify Navy personnel as facilitators as part of the Navy Suicide Prevention Program, Naval District Washington, fleet concentration areas, and other areas in the CNIC enterprise. The Navy’s existing network of facilitators has delivered 1,274 ASIST workshops and 2,077 safeTALK workshops. Maintaining ASIST and safeTALK as the standard Navy training will support the goal of having care providers utilizing a common suicide intervention framework and vocabulary.
