About this opportunity

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis for specialized antennas, with interested parties able to submit capability statements by July 13, 2026 at 4 PM PST. The procurement is not a competitive solicitation; no RFQ will be issued.

The requirement covers 23 units of 2–24 GHz Dual Linearly Polarised Sinuous Antenna (P/N QMS-00487) with SMA connector and radome, and 5 units of 2–18 GHz Dual Linearly Polarised Wideband Horn Antenna (P/N QMS-01046) with SMA connector but no radome. The intended awardee is Steatite Ltd (Antennas) and their sole authorized distributor, QPAR USA, located in Fountain Valley, California.

The hardware functions as direct replacement equipment for unique pod and target designs already in field use; form-fit-function equivalence to current hardware is mandatory to avoid compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, or schedule. Although the Navy has identified a sole source, 10 U.S.C. Section 3204(A)(1) requires notification of intent, and interested parties may submit written capability statements addressing their ability to perform without quality or schedule compromise. Responses must reference solicitation number N68936-26-SIMACQ-DB0000M/EB0000M-0487 and be sent to christine.r.beltramo.civ@us.navy.mil. Respondents must be registered in SAM and certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) to access Controlled Unclassified Information.
