About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command seeks to procure repair and modification services for antenna group equipment under NSN 7G-5985-015092513, TDP VER 003. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, though all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The procurement is driven by the Government's lack of ownership or rights to the data necessary for purchasing or contracting repair of this part from additional sources, and it has been determined uneconomical to acquire such data rights or to reverse engineer the part. Technical specifications and related standardized documents are available through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at Document Automation and Production Service (DAPS) in Philadelphia, with most documents accessible via ASSIST-Online. The due date for responses and proposals is November 25, 2025, with a 45-day period (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) from the publication date for interested parties to submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and involves the repair and modification of 23 units with delivery on a FOB Origin basis. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The Government does not anticipate using competitive bidding procedures; however, this notice does not preclude capable contractors from demonstrating their qualifications and interest in the requirement. Patterns, drawings, deviation lists, purchase descriptions, and related technical documents are not available through DODSSP and must be obtained through alternative means. Interested parties without internet access may contact the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179 (DSN: 442-2667) or submit requests by mail to DLA Document Services in Philadelphia.
