About this opportunity
Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base intends to award a sole-source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Ansys Government Initiatives for renewal of Ansys Government Initiatives Systems Tool Kit (STK) software, with responses due June 23, 2026. This procurement is predicated on statutory authority under 10 U.S.C. § 2304(c)(1), implemented through FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), finding that only one responsible source can satisfy agency requirements for STK software maintenance and renewal essential to military operations and mission-critical functions.
The contracting activity is AFLCMC/PZITA at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Ansys Government Initiatives is located at 220 Valley Creek Boulevard, Exton, Pennsylvania. The Government will establish fair and reasonable pricing through price analysis comparing historical data from current and previous AGI contracts, using market research and independent government estimates under FAR 15.404-1(b). Certified cost and pricing data will not be required under FAR 15.403(c)(3), and no audits will be requested given the estimated dollar value. Market research documents efforts to explore competitive alternatives, though none were determined viable given technical requirements and existing system integration constraints. A technical evaluation will be performed per FAR 15.404-1(e).
