About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking quotations for corrosion anode pencil zincs (NSN 5342-01-535-9098) manufactured by Camp Company, model E-1G. The requirement specifies 600 packs of five pencil zinc anodes with bronze plugs, measuring 3/8" MNPT with 1/2" diameter and 1" length zinc components. The Coast Guard will award the contract to the lowest price technically acceptable offer on an all-or-none basis using simplified acquisition procedures under FAR 13.106. Evaluation will be based primarily on price conformity with the solicitation requirements, including strict adherence to special packaging and marking specifications as mandated by the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center. Quotations must be received by February 11, 2026, with no separate written solicitation to be issued; this combined synopsis/solicitation announcement constitutes the only solicitation document. All offers must demonstrate technical acceptability by meeting the Coast Guard's non-standard packaging requirements, as the contracting officer has explicitly stated that offers with standard commercial packaging will be rejected.

This solicitation is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside under the NAICS code 333618 (Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing) with a business size standard of 1,500 employees. No incumbent contractor is identified in the documentation. The contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order with delivery on an F.O.B. Destination basis to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center at 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21126, specifically to the Receiving Room in Building 88. All offerors must maintain valid DUNS numbers and current registration with the System for Award Management (SAM.gov), and must comply with mandatory representations and certifications including Buy American provisions, small business status disclosures, and debarment compliance. The specific budget value and total award amount are not disclosed in the solicitation notice, though the simplified acquisition threshold suggests the total contract value will be below that limit.
