About this opportunity
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), a civilian agency under the Department of Energy, has published a Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source for annual software maintenance and support services for Enoserv RTS. This procurement announcement indicates WAPA's intention to award a contract to a single source rather than through competitive bidding. The notice is categorized under Software Publishers (NAICS 513210) and falls within the ADP Equipment/Software/Support Equipment inspection category (PSC H370). This notice is published for informational purposes and does not constitute a request for competitive quotes. The procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, which govern commercial items and small purchases.
WAPA is seeking qualified contractors to demonstrate their capability to provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Enoserv RTS software system. The agency has established a five-calendar-day response window, with responses due by December 10, 2025, requiring clear and convincing evidence of the company's ability to meet the Government's requirements. Interested contractors may submit capability statements that will be evaluated by the agency, and if no responses are received within the specified timeframe demonstrating comparable capability, WAPA will proceed with the sole source award. While the notice is open to all eligible sources, the final determination to award based on responses received remains solely within the Government's discretion. Contractors with questions regarding this notice should contact M. Kris Pfeifle at pfeifle@wapa.gov.
