About this opportunity

The Federal Aviation Administration announced its intent to single-source award licensing and support of Prometheus Torch software to Prometheus Intelligence, Inc., effective immediately. The FAA determined that Prometheus Intelligence is the only known source capable of providing a commercially available platform meeting the agency's requirements. Prometheus Torch's proprietary offline-first architecture performs speech-to-text, translation, and analytical processing entirely on local hardware without cloud-connected APIs, satisfying FAA data isolation and zero-trust requirements. This announcement is informational only; the FAA is not soliciting or accepting unsolicited proposals and bears no liability for response preparation costs.

Notice text

In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4 - Single-Source Selection, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis to Prometheus Intelligence, Inc. for the procurement of licensing and support of Prometheus Torch software.

Prometheus Intelligence is the only known source capable of providing a commercially available platform that meets the FAA’s requirements. This announcement is for informational purposes only. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
