This Sources Sought Notice (N32205-SS-N103-27-014) uses no set-aside. It is a request for information only and does not commit the government to contract or reimburse response costs.

Cargo is two ASCs, each weighing 500 short tons and measuring 150 feet long (169.54 feet including ramp), 31.46 feet beam, and 52 feet high. Loading occurs at Mobile, Alabama, with an available load date of January 5, 2027, during laydays of January 4-8, 2027 (last-on, first-off). Discharge is at a U.S. military port in Okinawa, Japan.

Respondents must offer self-sustaining transport ships equipped with float-on/float-off (FL/FLO) well decks or heavy-lift cranes capable of safely loading, transporting, and discharging the ASCs. Open-ocean towed barges and standard lift ships lacking conforming lift or FL/FLO configurations are strictly excluded for safety reasons.
