About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research to identify sources qualified to provide depot-level repair of AN/ALR-56M components (UP Converter NSN 5963-01-362-9731EW and Oscillator, Frequency Selectable NSN 5955-01-362-4598EW), with responses due by July 9, 2026. Participation is limited to DoD and U.S. DoD contractors only.
The original equipment manufacturer, Narda-MITEQ (CAGE 94S46), is the only known source with adequate technical data and knowledge to repair these items to performance requirements and ensure equipment compatibility. The Government does not own production-level technical data, and the agency has determined it uneconomical to acquire data rights or reverse engineer the part. Repair will be conducted under Repair Method Code R3 (repair for the second or subsequent time directly from the manufacturer).
The contractor must furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services, and is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all required equipment at either its own facility or an approved subcontractor facility.
