About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal (ACC Warren) is seeking a non-personal services contractor to provide specialized retirement training seminars for Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) employees. The primary objective is to deliver in-person Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) Pre-Retirement Seminars, including financial and tax planning components, as well as seminars for new employees focused on FERS benefits and financial literacy. These training sessions are designed to supplement, not replace, existing retirement training provided by the Army Benefits Center - Civilian (ABC-C) and Civilian Human Resource Agency (CHRA). The solicitation was posted on April 3, 2025, with proposal responses due by May 1, 2025, and is categorized under the Apprenticeship Training NAICS code 611513. While no specific evaluation criteria are detailed in the notice, the contract emphasizes the requirement for live, on-site training due to limited computer access for many ANAD employees.

The solicitation indicates no specific set-aside designations and does not mention potential award values or incumbent contractors. The contract is structured with a base year and four optional extension years, focusing exclusively on providing retirement training services at the Anniston Army Depot location. The training will be delivered live and in-person to ensure accessibility for employees without internet access, with a clear mandate to provide comprehensive retirement and financial planning education. The procurement falls under the Education/Training-Lectures Product Service Code (U001), targeting a specific need for retirement system knowledge among ANAD civil service employees. By requiring on-site, interactive training sessions, the Army aims to ensure employees can make informed decisions about their retirement planning and financial futures.
