About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center awarded a sole-source contract FA8522-25-D-0007 valued at $5,228,062.24 to General Microwave Corporation for the repair of Digitally Tuned Oscillators (DTO) used in ALR-56M and ALQ-131 Electronic Warfare systems. This five-year requirements contract includes one basic year plus four one-year ordering periods, running from July 29, 2025 through July 28, 2030, covering repair services for F-16, F-15, and C-130 aircraft systems. The contract encompasses repair quantities of 400 units for USAF and 40 for Foreign Military Sales (FMS), along with Tear Down, Test & Evaluation services for 100 USAF and 40 FMS units across all ordering periods. The award was justified as sole-source because General Microwave Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer holding the technical data package, and market research determined no other vendor could provide these specialized repair services without unacceptable delays.
