About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring replacement parts for audio frequency amplifiers (NSN 7H-5996-014314290, TDP Version 004) through this pre-solicitation notice. The Government has determined that it does not own the data or rights necessary to purchase this part from additional sources and that both acquiring such data rights and reverse engineering the part would be uneconomical. This is a single-source procurement conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, though all responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements to express their interest and capability. Interested parties should include their CAGE code on all solicitation requests and may obtain relevant military and federal specifications, standards, and qualified products lists from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) in Philadelphia. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on November 13, 2024, with a due date of November 28, 2025, allowing sufficient time for interested contractors to prepare responsive submissions.
No set-aside designation applies to this procurement, and this notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or current suppliers. The Government is seeking a total quantity of 57 units with FOB Origin delivery terms, representing the complete scope of the requirement. No specific award value or budget range is provided in this pre-solicitation notice. The procurement is categorized under PSC 5996 (Amplifiers) and represents the Government's intent to negotiate with a single source; however, the 45-day notification period allows any qualified firm to demonstrate its capability to fulfill the requirement before final award determination.
