Amendment #1 to combined synopsis/solicitation W912L9-10-T-0035
This amendment supplements the original Synopsis/Solicitation to clarify questions from vendors regarding W912L9-10-T-0035. The following information supersedes conflicting information on the base document and will be incorporated into the SOW.
1). Total requirement is for 42 shower heads. Vendor may divide these shower heads into as few separate units as possible to reach this total. (For example, 6 units of 7 shower heads, 3 units of 14 shower heads&)
2).This is a short term lease of shower units. The period of performance is as stated on the solicitation.
3). Vendor may substitute shower trailer units at their discretion as long as the units satisfy the based requirements as stated in SOW and this document.
4). See attached photos for specific site conditions and utilities tie-ins. Some minor repositioning may occur when units arrive at the direction of the authorized government representative (site mayor). This individual will be identified by the Contacting Officer prior to shower units arrival at Jennings County Fairgrounds.
5). 20 Amp/110 volt electrical is available.
6). Due to site layout and demand on electrical system, propane heating is required for hot water recovery rate.
7). Water tie-in is standard garden hose diameter; therefore we require an additional water distribution source. In the past, we have used a 20 foot container with water heaters, recovery tank (water reservoir to meet the demand and offset the garden hose capability). A larger water hookup is available (hydrant with regulator and step-down), but the vendor should include this requirement in their base bid if they cannot provide the additional water distribution.
8). Showers will operate continuously during the period of performance. Response to mechanical/equipment failures should be resolved within 1 hour of notification from Mayor Cell. Vendor will provide cell phone contact information for mechanical/equipment failures.
When submitting bid, vendor must acknowledge receipt/consideration of Amendment #1 in total bid pricing.
