About this opportunity
The Federal Highway Administration issued a sole-source Special Notice on Jun 26, 2026, intending to procure AASHTO memberships to provide timely information about transportation industry developments, products, and technology initiatives, with a response deadline of Jul 6, 2026. This is a total small business set-aside. FHWA states that as the mandated Local Technical Assistance Program provider, it requires these memberships to support professional development, training, and technical assistance to local agencies and tribal governments managing roads. The notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may submit capability statements demonstrating their ability to fulfill this requirement. FHWA will use submissions solely to determine whether competitive procurement should be conducted. Questions should be directed to Jerry Y Danso, Contracting Specialist, at jerry.danso@dot.gov.
