Added: March 5, 2008 Modified: Apr 23, 2008 6:45 pmTrack Changes The previous synopsis is amended as follows: The Government intends to issue a sole source award to R4, Inc., 145 Wyckoff Road, Suite 304, Eatontown, NJ 07724. R4, Inc. is the only responsible source since the work is sensitive and is to be conducted with resources embedded with units in the theater of operations. Any interested parties that believe they can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 7 days from the date of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement, yet must be limited to 2 pages. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, RDECOM AC will proceed with awarding an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, time and materials contract to R4, Inc.

The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center intends to release request for proposal W91CRB-08-R-0046 on or about April 2008 for personnel to support Project Manager, Soldier Equipment (PM SEQ) and Director, Joint T rauma Analysis and Prevention of Injury in Combat (JTAPIC) with Administrative, Data Collection and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) efforts to include MANPRINT support, logistics policy/standards procedures, feasibility analysis, recovery and shipping s upport and data mining efforts. The contractor will assist in the recovery, documentation and execution of plans for the proper transfer of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the CENTCOM AO and various CONUS locations. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation will result in one Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Time & Materials Contract for a total of five years.
The official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the inte rnet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at the following address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents.
