THE SOLICITATION IS NOW POSTED
Army Contracting Command NJ-Fort Dix is issuing this synopsis for a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of the solicitation that will be issued. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted supplies and services, unless specified as provided by the Government.
Construction includes, but is not limited to: the design, equipment, materials, supplies, installation, disposal, labor and supervision to remove old floor and wall mounted drinking fountains and install 34 new wall mounted, High Efficiency & ADA compliant drinking fountains (See SOW for Details) at various locations in Virginia and West Virginia.
The period of performance is 60 Business Days after the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.
The solicitation will be a request for quote and will be issued as a small business set aside with a primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 238220. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 20 April 2018 via fedbizops.gov. The site visit dates will be included in the solicitation. THE REQUIRED RESPONSE DATE WILL BE STATED IN THE SOLICITATION. Please note the response date listed with this pre-solicitation notice may not be the actual due date. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation.
BOTH TECHNICAL AND PRICE PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED.
No hard copies will be mailed. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in SAM (System for Award Management), https://www.sam.gov in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the SAM system may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to
the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in SAM at the time of award.
