About this opportunity
The Alabama Army National Guard is seeking a vendor to provide Real World Medical (RWM) assets, specifically two ambulances, for an upcoming exercise from September 23rd-26th, 2024. The primary requirement involves staging ambulances on-site during participant training hours of 0800-1800 daily, with mandatory capabilities for Advanced Life Support (ALS) and sufficient medical personnel. The contract necessitates maintaining at least one ambulance with ALS capabilities throughout the training to ensure uninterrupted exercise operations. Per National Guard Bureau guidelines, the vendor must demonstrate the ability to provide 4 EMTs or higher-level trained medical providers when 101-250 personnel are present. The contract opportunity is currently in pre-solicitation phase, with responses due by September 18th, 2024, and is categorized under Temporary Help Services (NAICS 561320) and Emergency Response Support (PSC R429).
No specific set-aside designation has been applied to this contract opportunity, indicating it is open to all qualified vendors. The agency requires the contracted ambulance service to have substantial medical response capabilities, specifically the ability to provide continuous on-site medical support without disrupting training activities. While no specific award value is mentioned, the contract will cover four days of medical service support during the National Guard exercise. The precise quantitative requirements include two ambulances and a minimum of four EMT-level medical personnel, with at least one ambulance maintaining Advanced Life Support capabilities throughout the event. The total service period spans September 23rd-26th, 2024, with daily service hours from 0800-1800, representing a relatively short-term but critical medical support contract for the Alabama Army National Guard's training exercise.
