About this opportunity
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a cost-plus-fixed-fee task order under the Raytheon Corporate Basic Ordering Agreement N0001925G0009 on a sole-source basis for the ALR-67(V)3 Multi-Channel Analog-to-Digital (MCAD) Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), with responses due by August 1, 2026.
NAVAIR is proceeding under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, justifying sole-source award to Raytheon as the only responsible source. Raytheon is the original equipment manufacturer and sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and supplier of the F/A-18 and EA-18G radar systems; the company possesses the technical data necessary to fulfill requirements that the Government cannot satisfy through any other source. The Government does not own a complete F/A-18 drawing package with Government Purpose Rights.
This is a notification of intent to sole-source, not a request for proposal. No contract award will be made based on responses to this notice. Inquiries and concerns should be directed to Contract Specialist Laurelle Brown-Hill at laurelle.r.brown-hill.civ@us.navy.mil. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Christopher Short at Raytheon (christopher.short@rtx.com).
