About this opportunity

NASA's Shared Services Center issued a sole-source justification notice for an all-inclusive Syft support contract, with capability statement submissions due by 3:00 p.m. Central Time on September 3, 2026. The notice reflects NASA's intent to award a sole-source contract to Syft Technologies, Inc., under FAR 12.102(a), but invites other organizations to submit capability statements to demonstrate whether the procurement should proceed on a competitive basis; the Government retains sole discretion to reject the sole-source determination and conduct full and open competition.

The contract supports maintenance and operational availability of a mass spectrometer used for trace contaminant control testing at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) under the ES-62 testing chamber system, which evaluates Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) hardware. The Statement of Work describes a one-year service period running November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027, with all-inclusive repair and method development consultation as the scope. The procurement falls under NAICS 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and PSC J066 (Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment—Instruments and Laboratory Equipment).

Interested vendors must submit written capability statements only—no quotes or oral communications will be accepted—referencing the notice ID and addressing them to Cody Guidry, Procurement Specialist II, at Cody.d.guidry@nasa.gov.
