About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard, through a collaboration with the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS), has issued a Special Notice regarding the ALC Modernization and Sustainment Accelerator Event scheduled for June 16-18, 2026. This event is being hosted at Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Elizabeth City, North Carolina, which serves as the sole industrial complex supporting Coast Guard aviation operations. The Special Notice invites industry participation in this accelerator event designed to facilitate direct engagement between private sector contractors and Coast Guard personnel. The event was posted on March 30, 2026, with a registration deadline of May 15, 2026. This initiative represents an opportunity for contractors to align their capabilities with Coast Guard aviation logistics requirements.
The primary objective of the ALC Modernization and Sustainment Accelerator is to connect industry innovators with Coast Guard end users and subject matter experts to address operational challenges and advance modernization efforts. The event will feature a comprehensive base tour on the first day to showcase ALC's mission, operations, and current capabilities in depot maintenance, engineering, procurement, supply support, and logistics information systems. Contractors will then participate in focused technology sessions organized by capability area, where they will engage directly with subject matter experts who will present problem sets, immediate needs, and discuss potential solutions. There are no stated eligibility restrictions for contractor participation, and interested companies are directed to register through the NCMS website at the provided URL. The registration deadline of May 15, 2026, provides approximately six weeks for contractors to confirm their participation prior to the June event.
