Added: Jun 20, 2017 9:43 am The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement to conducting an airborne electromagnetic magnetic, and radiometric survey of the Mississippi Alluvial Plain to provide digitally recorded and processed airborne geophysical and ancillary data. The Contractor shall furnish all travel, mobilization, labor, materials, aircraft and aircraft facilities, and demobilization, except as otherwise specified herein, required for conducting an airborne electromagnetic magnetic, and radiometric survey. The contractor shall provide digitally recorded and processed airborne geophysical and ancillary data in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications set forth in this contract. The government has a definite requirement for and plans to award a minimum of 5,000 line kilometers (km). Optional “add-on” line kilometers may also be awarded at the time of contract award, up to 46,000 additional line-km, in part or all, throughout the duration of this 4-year contract period with a minimum 2,000 line km and a mobilization per year. Additional add-on line kilometers may be awarded with each option year, pending availability of funds. The Government plans to make one contract award for the project area; however, data acquisition may occur in several phases as funds become available. Up to one mobilization/demobilization per year may be required. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Lakewood, Colorado. Telephone request for the RFP will not be accepted. It is anticipated that Solicitation (G17PS00358) will be available on or after June 26, 2016 at the following web address: https://www.fedconnect.net. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 541360. The services/supplies described herein are Commercial Item. This requirement is not set-aside for small business.
