About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 14 Air Filter Dryers (NSN 7R-1680-016504191-P8) with Technical Data Package (TDP) Version 001. The procurement will be delivered FOB Origin and is currently planned as a non-competitive solicitation under FAR 6.302-1, which allows negotiation with a single source. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date (until January 9, 2025) to submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement. Potential vendors can access required specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) via ASSIST-Online or by contacting the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk. The government will evaluate submissions to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, with the final determination solely within their discretion.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this contract opportunity. While the exact award value is not specified, the procurement involves 14 units of Air Filter Dryers for military use. The government has explicitly stated they are not applying FAR Part 12 policies for commercial item acquisition, though interested parties may propose commercial alternatives within 15 days of the notice. Vendors seeking to participate must obtain necessary military specifications and standards, with most documents available in Adobe PDF format through online resources. Delivery will be executed through FOB Origin, suggesting the government expects the supplier to handle initial transportation logistics. Potential respondents should carefully review the technical requirements and be prepared to demonstrate comprehensive capabilities in manufacturing or supplying the specified Air Filter Dryer components.
