About this opportunity

Army Contracting Command (ACC) is preparing to procure the lease, deployment, operation, and support of four AI-powered Mosquito Surveillance System (MSS) units for Eighth Army force health protection, with capability statements due by May 31, 2026 and performance to run July 1 through September 30, 2026.

Place of performance spans four Eighth Army installations: Camp Bonifas, Warrior Base, Dagmar North Training Area (DNTA), and Rodriguez Live Fire Complex (RLFC). Final unit placement is subject to approval by the installation Public Health Entomologist, with contractors expected to recommend locations optimizing capture of medically relevant mosquito species in Soldier living, training, and operational environments. The Government reserves the right to direct relocation if initial placement proves operationally unsuitable.

The MSS must be an integrated, field-deployable smart trap system capable of attracting and capturing mosquitoes using attractants and fan-driven airflow, automatically imaging specimens, and performing AI-based species identification with at least 95% accuracy for medically important vectors including Anopheles, Culex tritaeniorhynchus, Aedes albopictus, Culex pipiens, and Aedes vexans. Systems must transmit capture data, species identification results, and trap status to a cloud-based, Government-accessible dashboard in near-real-time (within 1 hour of collection).

Interested parties should submit capability statements demonstrating ability to meet stated requirements, including relevant experience and technical specifications. NAICS classification is 561710 (Exterminating and Pest Control Services).
