About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center, also known as the Air Force Test Center, is seeking commercial services to support the expansion of one of Arnold Engineering Development Complex's test capabilities. The key requirements are the reactivation of a large industrial-grade heater to work alongside the existing heater, enabling the delivery of elevated temperatures to the process air system for the test cell, and the installation of ducting, valves, and hydraulic skids to channel the heated air from the heaters to the test cell. This system will include a duct leg configuration to ensure stable conditions within the test cell and incorporate necessary controls, pressure, and flow valves to regulate process air parameters.
This is a pre-solicitation notice, and there is no set-aside designation. The government has not provided any information about potential incumbents or current contractors, award values, or budget ranges. The deadline for responses to the Sources Sought Notice is 1:00 PM Central Time on October 11, 2024, and the Contracting Officer will contact companies with technical capabilities that align with the requirement to schedule a follow-up discussion.
