LoadPath, LLC, Albuquerque, New Mexico, has been awarded a $14,899,737 ceiling cost-reimbursement contract for Advanced Spacecraft Systems with Integrated Structural Thermal Technologies (ASSISTT) as a result of BAA FA9453-17-S-0002 Call 002. This contract provides for the advancement of the technology and scientific knowledge in the areas of deployable structures, thermal systems, RF antenna structures, integrated structural sensing, and advanced manufacturing. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is expected to be complete by 01 March 2024. This contract was the result of a competitive acquisition and four offers were received. Fiscal 2019 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $440,670 are being obligated at the time of award; this requirement will be incrementally funded.. Awarded Vendors: LoadPath LLC. Contract Award Dollar Amount: $14,899,737.00. Contract Award Date: 2019-02-25.

The Advanced Spacecraft Systems with Integrated Structural Thermal Technologies (ASSISTT) program is seeking White Paper from Offerors to advance the technology and scientific knowledge in the areas of deployable structures, thermal systems, RF antenna structures, integrated structural sensing, and advanced manufacturing. Efforts will include basic and advanced research, advanced component and technology development, and prototyping and system development and will span the range from concept and laboratory experimentation to testing or demonstration in a relevant environment. Specific tasks include design, development, analysis, fabrication, integration, characterization, prototyping, testing/experimentation, and demonstration of hardware and software products.
