This unrestricted solicitation will be issued to procure supplies with a 5-year base period and an estimated annual quantity of 80 units delivered FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance at destination. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302 authority, with the currently approved sole source being National Machine Co. (CAGE 6L817). While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, all proposals received within 45 days of publication will be considered, and the Government reserves the right to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received. Interested contractors may also submit proposals identifying their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The due date for responses is January 19, 2026.
The procurement carries no set-aside designation and is currently restricted to National Machine Co. as the sole approved source under part number 45701DCD001-01. The item is neither critical nor designated as a Critical Safety Item, and surge capacity does not apply to this procurement. DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) does not possess technical data on this part. No specific budget or award value is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, though the estimated annual quantity of 80 units provides a baseline for anticipated demand over the 5-year contract period.
