About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is procuring 11 electro-mechanical actuators designed for F110 aircraft applications through Request for Proposal (RFP) #SPRTA126R0083. The actuators feature servo valve technology that uses hydraulic force to extend or retract the actuator rod in response to system pressure and control signals. A firm fixed-price contract is contemplated for this procurement, which is classified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302 authority, though all responsible sources may submit capability statements or proposals for consideration. All proposals received within 45 days after publication of this synopsis will be evaluated. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on November 5, 2025, with a response deadline of November 20, 2025, providing potential bidders with a 15-day window to express interest.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and is open to full and open competition. Parker-Hannifin Corporation (CAGE code 82106) is identified as a qualified source, having previously supplied 9 units under contract SPE4A117G0011SPRTA120F0349 on August 26, 2020. The required delivery date for the 11 actuator units is January 1, 2026, to destination SW3211. Each actuator measures 25.5 inches long by 14.5 inches wide by 14.5 inches high and weighs 15.0 pounds, constructed from aluminum and stainless steel materials. While no specific budget range is provided in the synopsis, the procurement is identified under NAICS category 336412 (Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing) with PSC code 3010 (Torque Converters and Speed Changers).
