About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 31 Electro-Mechanical Actuators, identified by NSN 7R-1680-011298402-LU, with delivery specified as FOB Origin. This is a sole source requirement, meaning the government currently lacks sufficient accurate data to contract with sources other than the current supplier. Potential bidders must be aware that the items are subject to Free Trade Agreements and World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement regulations. Critically, government source approval is mandatory, and interested contractors must submit detailed information from the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure alongside their proposal. Any offers that do not provide complete documentation as specified in the brochure will be automatically disqualified from consideration.

The solicitation does not include any specific set-aside designations, and there are no incumbent contractor details provided in the notice. The contract opportunity is currently in a pre-solicitation phase, with a posting date of August 23, 2024, and a response deadline of March 31, 2025. While no specific award value is mentioned, the procurement involves 31 units of the specified actuator. Interested parties seeking additional information are directed to contact Samantha Freedman at Samantha.m.freedman.civ@us.navy.mil. The procurement falls under PSC Category 1680-P, which covers Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components, suggesting these actuators are likely for aerospace or defense-related applications.
