About this opportunity

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Egypt office has issued a pre-solicitation notice for the Iktisadna activity. The goal of this activity is to build more resilience in Egypt's macroeconomic framework, covering areas such as public finance, debt management, climate change financing, monetary policy, and attracting foreign investment. The required services and tasks include technical assistance, capacity building, and training to relevant Government of Egypt (GOE) stakeholders. Key focus areas include improving fiscal and monetary policies, strengthening the external policy framework, and enhancing regulatory and structural policies to foster private sector-led economic growth. USAID expects the contractor to leverage private sector engagement, utilize collaborating, learning, and adapting approaches, ensure sustainability of outcomes, integrate gender considerations, and coordinate with other USAID and donor activities.

This pre-solicitation notice does not have any set-aside designations. The draft Scope of Work document is attached, and an RFI has been posted on May 10, 2023. Proposals are due on August 13, 2023. No specific award value or budget range is provided, and there is no information on potential incumbents or current contractors.
