About this opportunity
The U.S. Navy's Boats & Craft Program (PMS300G), in support of Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (COMNAVSURFLANT), is seeking information from industry regarding Active Ride Control System (ARCS) technologies through a Request for Information (RFI). The objective is to evaluate hydrodynamic planar technologies that can stabilize the ride of small boats, primarily to reduce the likelihood of sailor injuries and secondarily provide more efficient boat operations. The planned ARCS demonstration event will take place from January 2025 to June 2025 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock, Combatant Craft Division (NSWCCD CCD). Interested parties are invited to submit an application and quad chart describing their ARCS technologies' capabilities by 5:00 PM EDT on November 27, 2024, and the government will select respondents based on the ability of their technologies to meet the stated objectives, potentially entering into Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) with selected participants.
This is not a set-aside procurement, and there is no information provided regarding any potential incumbents or current contractors. The RFI does not specify any award values or budget ranges, and it does not mention any numerical details such as the quantity of goods or timeline for services.
