About this opportunity
The Department of Agriculture's Farm Production and Conservation division has issued a Limited Source Justification for title commitment updates and closing services for Agricultural Conservation Easement Program - Wetland Reserve Easements (ACEP-WRE) contracts in Arkansas. The services include updating preliminary title commitments, providing closing services following state standards, issuing Closing Protection Letters, recording documents, and issuing final title policies meeting NRCS and DOJ standards. The justification limits competition because the selected vendor has already provided initial title commitments for specific easement landowner contracts, and procuring services from a new vendor would create extensive delays and increased costs by requiring re-initiation of preliminary title commitment processes. The contract covers ten easement title updates and closing services valued at $21,749.00, to be completed within 12 months, with an award date of August 1, 2025. While the contract was awarded under number 12FPC425Q0047, the vendor name and specific award amount remain redacted in the available documentation.
