About this opportunity
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, California intends to procure chiller repair services on a sole source basis to ACCO Engineered Systems located in Pasadena, California. ACCO has already inspected and evaluated the equipment to determine necessary repairs for this requirement. The procurement is not intended to be competitive, though any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response referencing solicitation number N6893625Q5169 by October 6, 2025, which is five days after the publication date. Responses must include a capability statement demonstrating the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. All potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and comply with notarized letter requirements for entity administrators.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is classified under NAICS code 333415 for air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment manufacturing. ACCO Engineered Systems appears to be the incumbent contractor, having already conducted the initial inspection and evaluation of the chiller equipment requiring repair. The notice does not specify contract values, budget ranges, quantities of equipment, or timelines for service completion. The procurement falls under PSC category Z2EZ for repair or alteration of other industrial buildings. Given the sole source nature and ACCO's prior involvement with the equipment assessment, this appears to be a continuation of existing maintenance services rather than a new competitive procurement.
