About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure an A Imuth Monitor Assembly with National Stock Number 7E-5985-015756741, Technical Drawing Package Version 003, for a quantity of 9 units to be delivered to DLA Distribution facilities in New Cumberland, PA, and Tracy, CA. The proposed contract action will be negotiated with a single source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may express interest and capability to respond within 45 days of publication (30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). Interested parties can obtain necessary military specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) via Document Automation and Production Service, with documents primarily available in Adobe PDF format through ASSIST-Online. The government will consider all proposals received within the specified timeframe, with the ultimate determination of competitive procurement being solely at their discretion. Potential vendors are encouraged to demonstrate their capability to satisfy the requirement, particularly with commercial items.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this procurement, and the contract does not appear to be using FAR Part 12 policies for commercial item acquisition. While specific award values are not disclosed, the procurement involves nine units of a specialized monitoring assembly within the Antennas, Waveguides, and Related Equipment product service category (PSC 5985). Delivery locations are specified as W25G1U at DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, PA, and W62G2T at DLA Distribution in Tracy, CA, suggesting potential multi-site deployment. The notice was posted on January 25, 2025, with responses due by March 12, 2025, providing potential vendors approximately 45 days to prepare and submit their capabilities or proposals. Vendors without internet access can contact the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk at provided phone numbers or mailing address to obtain additional information about the procurement opportunity.
