About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Wander Management System for the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center's Community Living Center in Philadelphia. The pre-solicitation notice is a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research and identify potential vendors capable of providing a comprehensive software system with specific technical requirements. Key contract requirements include 99.9999% software availability, compatibility with VMware and Microsoft Windows Server, full disk encryption, multifactor authentication, and on-premises hosting. Interested vendors must submit a brief statement of interest and capabilities via email to Eleanor Robbins by 10:00 EDT on March 25, 2025. While the VA is not currently taking questions, respondents are encouraged to highlight any ambiguities or concerns in their response.
The VA shows a preference for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), though all capable contractors may respond. SDVOSB/VOSB firms must provide proof of VetCert certification by the SBA, and vendors with relevant GSA Federal Supply Schedule contracts are asked to identify their contract number. The intended NAICS code is 423430 (Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers) with a Product Service Code of 7B20. The solicitation does not specify a specific award value or budget range, and there are no current incumbent contractors mentioned in the documents. The system procurement will include installation, device reprogramming, system testing, clinical staff training, and a one-year warranty with 24/7 technical support. The VA assumes no responsibility for costs incurred in preparing responses to this sources sought notice.
