About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VA) is seeking sources for three Walk-Behind Floor Scrubbers for the Cheyenne VA Medical Center through a pre-solicitation notice. Specifically, the VA is requesting Tennant M-T300 Scrubbers or equivalent models that meet detailed technical specifications, such as having sealed AGM batteries, dual disk capabilities, and specific motor and tank configurations. Potential vendors must submit a capabilities/qualifications statement of no more than 8 pages to charles.olise@va.gov by February 17, 2025, at 13:00 MST. The procurement falls under NAICS code 333310 (Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. While this is a sources sought notice and not a formal solicitation, the VA is collecting information to understand market capabilities and potential vendor interest.

The procurement does not have a specific set-aside designation, meaning it is open to all qualifying vendors. The total quantity requested is three floor scrubbers, with each unit expected to meet precise technical requirements including a 24 VDC, 1 HP scrub motor, 11-gallon solution tank, 14-gallon recovery tank, and overall dimensions of 52" x 26" x 44" weighing approximately 410 pounds. The VA intends to award a fixed-price contract for these equipment items, to be delivered to the Cheyenne VA Medical Center located at 2360 East Pershing Boulevard in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Vendors will need to comply with VA personal identity verification procedures and be prepared to work around federal holiday schedules. The pre-solicitation notice serves as an initial market research step to gather information about potential suppliers and their capabilities to meet the VA's specific equipment needs.
