About this opportunity
The Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory (NSMRL) is seeking to procure specific Tescom regulators and corresponding repair kits through a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. The procurement involves five distinct model numbers of regulators, including 26-1121-182, 26-1013-14, 26-1017-14, 26-1221-2161-088, and their associated repair kits. Quotes must be submitted via email to Kaylin Drumeller by February 04, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. EST, with the government planning to award based primarily on price. However, the contracting officer reserves the right to consider past performance information and potentially select a quote other than the lowest-priced submission if performance history suggests another offer represents better value. All quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and include specific details such as pricing, FOB point, point of contact, GSA contract number (if applicable), business size, and payment terms.
The solicitation is classified under NAICS code 334513 for Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing, with a small business standard of 750 employees. The requirement is designated as 100 percent small business set-aside, which means only small businesses can compete for this contract. While specific contract value details are not provided, the procurement appears focused on precision measurement and control instruments for industrial processes. The Naval Supply Systems Command will manage this procurement, and all submissions must demonstrate the vendor's capability to meet all specified requirements. Vendors are explicitly instructed not to submit quotes through the NECO system but to send them directly to the provided email address. Interested businesses must carefully review all applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clauses, which can be accessed through the specified web addresses.
