About this opportunity

The Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking repair services for five Display Unit, Flight items under NSN 7R 6610-015687028 and Part Number 267A740-3, which are critical flight management system components designated as Critical Application Items (CAI). This is a sole source procurement that will be awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), as the government lacks sufficient technical data to contract with alternative sources. Contractors must obtain Government Source Approval prior to award by submitting detailed information outlined in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure, and proposals failing to include this required documentation will not be considered. The contract will be evaluated on a Firm Fixed Price basis for evaluation, labor, materials, and parts necessary to restore the government-owned items to operable condition. The solicitation was posted on August 27, 2025, with responses due by August 28, 2026.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified sources, though it is structured as a sole source requirement favoring the current approved contractor. The contract specifies a quantity of five display units requiring repair services with a delivery schedule of 730 calendar days from the date of award. The performance period extends from September 2, 2025 to September 2, 2027, providing contractors with a two-year window to complete the restoration work. Items will be shipped to the Australian Government Cargo Office via DHL Global Forwarding in Brisbane, California, indicating international delivery requirements. The solicitation does not specify award values or budget ranges, focusing instead on the technical requirements for restoring these specialized flight instruments to operational status.
